Doctrine of Divine Justice and the Supreme Court of Heaven

September 6, 2014

DIVINE JUSTICE AND THE SUPREME COURT OF HEAVEN

A. There is a supreme court in heaven. It is the last court of appeals in history, as well as the court for personal justice for the individual believer. It is a court which administers both personal and collective justice.

B. Presiding over this supreme court is Jesus Christ, to whom all judgment has been committed, Jn 5:22, 27.

C. This court fulfills the principle that Jesus Christ controls history.

D. This court has the highest jurisdiction and overrules Satan’s authority as the ruler of this world. Satan is subject to this court.

E. It is to this court that King Hezekiah appealed to Isaiah for intercessory prayer, Isa 37:4.

F. Because of this court, many of Satan’s plans and policies have been set aside, overruled, and reversed.

G. This is why history continues in spite of the fact that Satan is the ruler of this world. Jesus Christ is the supreme court justice of human history.

H. Therefore, in the rise and fall of nations, there are no accidents, prejudices, or favoritism; only the function of perfect divine justice.
